It is a natural mutation of orange animals. Such creatures were known in India since ancient times; in the 20th century, the British hunters killed several of them. Such coat color is rare in this species, because the gene for this color is recessive. These felines usually have blue eyes, but species with yellow and green eyes did occur. They are not albinos, as blue irises and dark stripes are indicative of some melanin in their bodies. Many such animals have been bred in captivity, but in order to produce more species, they had to be inbred. This has resulted in serious breeding depressions, such as crossed eyes, spinal deformities, twisted necks, shortened tendons in the legs and shorter life span.

Bengal White Tiger -
farm, babies
Nowadays these large cats are endangered. These animals can move with a speed of up to 60 kilometers per hour. Unlike most felines these animals like water. They are rather good swimmers. They can swim quite swiftly in the water. An adult animal needs 16-18 hours per day for sleeping. Therefore, they are nocturnal animals and prefer to hunt at dusk or at dawn. Hunting does not come easy to them, and sometimes it takes about 15 attempts to kill a large animal. However, they can consume about 40 pounds of meat at once and can stay without food for a long time. A bengal white tiger farm might have a few babies for you to look at up-close.
