The animals that are kept in zoos get specially prepared diet for them that consists of horse meat and vitamins that are given to them daily. They may eat about 10 pounds of meat a day and they do not know how to hunt. Therefore, zoo animals will definitely face difficulties in the wild. Wild animals start eating meat at the age of 8 weeks and start making steps in hunting around 6 months of age. By age of 1.5 years, they are capable of killing large animals. They become fully mature by age of 3-4 years old.

Bengal Cub Tiger -
kitten, cats
These animals are good solitary hunters and spend most of their time hunting. Their usual prey is wild pigs, wild cattle, deer and other animals and they need about 40 pounds of meat a day though sometimes they may eat more: about 100 pounds at a time. They can develop speed up to 60 km per hour, but they cannot run for long distances. They do not have a great stamina either and spend about 18 hours each day sleeping. However, they are exceptionally patient and are capable of climbing trees, although they prefer not to do so.
