If we fail to change the situation, the planet will lose one of its most magnificent creations in about 50 years.

These are solitary animals that like to live alone; they meet only at the period of mating and usually the female scratches the trees thus showing that she is ready for mating and the male find her by these scratches. The territory of the male usually overlaps with the territories of the females. These animals can mate year round, but they prefer to breed from April till November. A male copulates with several females that dwell within his home range and does not take part in rearing the young. Females are very aggressive in steering males away from their cubs. You will not find snow bengal cat catteries and breeders.
