This species is second to only Siberian species in size. Like all felines, these animals are pure carnivores and hunt big game, such as deer, pig, buffalo, and even young elephant. They hunt mostly at dusk and dawn; their coat pattern helps them hide in the tall grass. Although they are large and powerful, they cannot run for a long time and rely on ambush hunting. They are patient enough to spend many hours tracking their prey and attack immediately once the prey comes within the striking range. They kill a prey by jumping onto its back and biting on its neck. Obtain bengal tiger facts from a cattery and meet kittens for sale.
