Bengal Sound Tiger
The bengal sound tiger can sometimes be confused with other big cats, but can be easily identified in pictures.
When the cubs are two months old, the mother brings them out of the den. The cubs are very playful, adventurous, and curious about the world around them. At first the cubs are fed small prey animals but after six months the cubs are old enough to be left alone for several days. The young retain bonds with the mother until 1.5 to 2 years of age. By age of 3 to 4 years old, they become fully mature and independent. These animals are relatively numerous, but their numbers continues to decline as their habitat is being destroyed and many species fall victims to poachers who trade in their body parts.

Bengal Sound Tiger -
cats, pictures
The animals are not very productive and they usually give birth to two four cubs though rarely a tigress may produce as many as six cubs. Newborn cubs weigh 800-1,500g each. A cub is 31-40 cm from head to tail. Its eyes usually open by the tenth day. Females are very protective around their young and are wary toward everything coming within their range during this period. Therefore, if you happen to be in a place where these animals can be found, you must be extremely cautious. Males exhibit an increased aggression during mating seasons.
