The first record of such animal was displayed in 1820; at the beginning of the 20th century about 15 animals were killed. These animals carry the unusual gene that defines their color. They grow faster and heavier than their orange relatives. Many people take particular interest in these animals due to their unusual color. In the wild, it takes both parents carrying this gene to produce a cub with this coloration. These animals are more likely to suffer from genetic disorders than their orange counterparts.
